Martha was born with cleft palate though it wasn’t diagnosed until she was in the third grade. Born to a family of 16 children in rural Georgia, no one asked why Martha had so much trouble talking. She was bullied, isolated, called names. After an operation, Martha learned to talk and to sing. A revelation came to her in the form of a voice. In that moment, God told Martha He would make her “PURE AS GOLD.”
